Work created as part of the the book - The Body Called Palestine by Amit Mukhopadhyay. From the River to the Sea is a series that reflects on displacement, identity, and the complex histories of the Palestinian experience. The work weaves together symbolism and text, drawing from written and verbal accounts of trauma shared by victims and their families. These deeply personal narratives ground the art in lived realities, amplifying its emotional resonance. Through this series, I navigate the spaces between conflict and resilience, portraying both the grief of loss and the hope for a future of unity. It’s a reflection on the enduring struggle for belonging and the deep connections between land, memory, and people.
